The Product Story
Here you can see the long journey of our products!
Local Soil Taken
Our clay was painstakingly produced on-site in Kenya or Cambodia from local soil over a weeks-long process.
Lovingly Handcrafted
Pottery on the wheel is not so easy, it requires a lot of training and patience. Together with our pottery team, we have further expanded our product range.
Elaborately glazed
Each product is given an individual glaze to prepare the surface for painting with the children's colors.
Burned for days
Each product undergoes two firings, first at 900°C, then at 1250°C. In total, the long process takes up to a week to complete.
Carefully transported
All cups and bowls are inspected and then carefully transported to the schools.
Painted creatively and with joy
In our voluntary Thamani workshops, the cups or bowls are painted with high-quality paints. For many children, it is the first time they can paint with a brush, as they unfortunately couldn't afford it before.
